The Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC) took place from the 22nd to the 25th of February at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. Annual major event of the mobile technology industry, MWC increased in popularity over the last few years, to become the biggest gathering of industry experts in the world, attracting huge personalities such as Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
With a record participation of over 100,000 attendees, of which 3,600 were members of the press and media outlets and 2,200 companies, from more than 200 different countries, the Mobile World Congress 2016 reaffirms itself as the reference of the major events in technological developments.
