Grupo Pefaco present at the Mobile World Congress 2016

The Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC) took place from the 22nd to the 25th of February at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. Annual major event of the mobile technology industry, MWC increased in popularity over the last few years, to become the biggest gathering of industry experts in the world, attracting huge personalities such as Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.

With a record participation of over 100,000 attendees, of which 3,600 were members of the press and media outlets and 2,200 companies, from more than 200 different countries, the Mobile World Congress 2016 reaffirms itself as the reference of the major events in technological developments.

Grupo Pefaco sent a delegation to the congress to look for technological innovations and future trends in the Leisure & Gaming industry for its brand Lydia Ludic.

Charity Gala: Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* supports the foundation Perspectives d’Avenir

On Friday the 16th of February, the Foundation Perspectives d’Avenir presented on Friday the 16th of February its newly established headquarters at 35 Avenue des Trois Martyrs, in district 4 Moungali of Brazzaville, in the Republic of Congo. Besides the inauguration ceremony, many activities took place to celebrate the event, amongst which a Charity Gala, that Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* sponsored.

Many Congolese and international celebrities appeared during the night, to make their contribution: raising money to finance the « Kelasi » funds (scholarship grants) and the « Telema » funds (business grants), of the Foundation to help young Congolese in the development of their education and skills training in the areas necessary for the emergence and development of the Congo.

ICE Totally Gaming, one of the major Leisure & Gaming industry events, took place from the 2nd to the 4th of February, at ExCel London. The award winning show is the annual launch pad for gaming innovation, with literally hundreds of new product launches over three days.

Unique gathering place for all the major gaming players, ICE Totally Gaming 2016 attracted near to 30,000 attendees from 150 countries.

Grupo Pefaco, one of the major Leisure & Gaming operators in Africa, sent a delegation to attend the exhibition to meet with industry experts and discover the latest gaming offers and technologies for its commercial brand Lydia Ludic.

Pefaco Hotels at the international tourism trade fair FITUR for the 2nd consecutive year

Pefaco Hotels will take part in the 36th edition of the international tourism trade fair FITUR from the 20th to the 24th of January 2016 at the Trade Fair Institution of Madrid, IFEMA, and will welcome attendees in Hall 6 at booth 6D07.

FITUR is a global meeting point for tourism professionals. During the 2015 edition, FITUR reinforced its predominant role of being an exchange platform with international scope, with a mass participation record of 125.000 professionals from 139 countries, and up to 222.000 unique visitors in total, confirming the importance of the fair at an international level.

As part of the 20th anniversary of Grupo Pefaco in 2015, the group celebrated the occasion and shared the event with its employees, customers and partners.

For this, global actions at all its subsidiaries were scheduled throughout the year 2015. Amongst these actions, was the “Jackpot Salary“: a Group employee was drawn on a monthly basis and received a double salary.

The winner of the 12th Jackpot Salary is Claudio Oliver JAIME VALDEZ, Collecting Assistant of the slot machines park at Lydia Ludic Paraguay in Asuncion. He officially started working with Lydia Ludic Paraguay in March 2015, after finishing his training period. Claudio Oliver JAIME VALDEZ is 46 years-old and was born in the small town of Vicente Matiauda, in the Department of Itapúa, in the South of Paraguay.

Grupo Pefaco is present in Paraguay since 2007 through the company Lydia Ludic Paraguay and employs nearly 100 people in 13 cities, under the supervision of General Director Wylliam TETI.

As part of the 20th anniversary of Grupo Pefaco in 2015, the Group wants to celebrate the occasion and share the event with its employees, customers and partners.

For this, global actions at all subsidiaries are scheduled throughout the year 2015. Among its actions, the “Jackpot Salary“: a Group employee will be drawn on a monthly basis and will receive a double pay.

The winner of the 11th Jackpot Salary is Moussa TOURE, Development Manager of the slot machines park at Lydia Ludic Côte d’Ivoire in Abidjan. With a Diploma in electronic science from the Institute of Technology and Specialties of Abidjan, he started working with Lydia Ludic Côte d’Ivoire on September 2009 as an intern in the Technical Department. At the end of his internship, Moussa TOURE joined the company as a field technician, before being promoted – a few years later – to the position of Special Maintenance Technician. Thanks to his talent and experience with Lydia Ludic, he has become Development Manager of the slot machines park of the company, handling amongst others the setting up and the maintenance of new operating systems. Moussa TOURE is 31 years-old and was born in Odienné, in the North-West of the Ivory Coast.

Grupo Pefaco is present in Ivory Coast since 2009 through the company Lydia Ludic Côte d’Ivoire SARL and employs more than 600 people in 9 cities, under the supervision of General Director Gregory MEUNIER.
