Training program – Pefaco Hotels supports the Foundation Perspectives d’Avenir

On the 21st of April 2016, Pefaco Hotels took part in the meeting organized by the Foundation Perspectives d’Avenir at the sports complex of Kintélé, inside the Hôtel de la Concorde (Brazzaville).

The gathering aimed at getting the young interns of the 1st edition of the Hospitality Training Program of the Foundation, immersed in the hotel industry. The meeting was followed by a sampling session and a demonstration of the trainees’ skills acquired during the month long training.

By taking part in this action, Pefaco Hotels commits to its sustainable social policy by helping to promote qualified training programs for the Congolese youth, leading to the development of the Republic of the Congo and its population.

A delegation of Pefaco Hotels attended the 7th HTSI – Magma Hospitality Consulting Trend Conference. The event took place on the 6h of April 2016 in the Majestic Hotel & Spa of Barcelona, gathering many hotel industry experts, such as Bruno HALLÉ, Associate Director of Magma Hospitality Consulting, Pascal BILLARD, General Director of Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, Ricard SANTOMÀ, Dean of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management Sant Ignasi, Genís ROCA, Associate President of Roca Salvatella, Marc POUS, CEO of thethings.iO , Daniel Marco Digital Director of Generalitat de Catalunya and Chema GONZÁLEZ, Chief Strategy of BeMate.com, amongst others.

Jointly organized by HTSI and Magma Hospitality Consulting, the  7th Trend Conferences’ purpose was to tackle the Internet of Things and its potential applications in the toursim and hotel industries.

Good France menu: Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* presents the excellence of French cuisine

For the 2nd year, Goût de France / Good France gathered more than 1700 chefs from 5 continents to celebrate the excellence of French cuisine. The event took place during the spring equinox, on the 21st of March 2016, in all participating restaurants.

In collaboration with the French Ambassy in Congo, Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* participated in the event, with their Chef Romain Dossou-Yovo at the head of the French restaurant Le Bistro Parisien, preparing a delicious menu to delight the tastes buds of all guests.

Pefaco Hotels present at the Grand Hospitality Debate of Barcelona

A delegation of Pefaco Hotels attended the Hospitality Grand Debate of Barcelona. The event took place on the 15th of March 2016 in the Majestic Hotel & Spa of Barcelona, gathering more than 130 experts of the hotel industry, such as Agustí COLOM, city counsellor of Barcelona in the fields of Labor, Business, Trade and Tourism, Malco PAR, representing Gremi d’Hotels de Barcelona, the association of hotels in Barcelona, Enrique ALCANTARA, President of Apartur, the association of touristic apartments in Barcelona, Javier CATALAN, deputy president of Zenit Hoteles, and Ghislain d’Auvigny, General Director of Pierre & Vacances, amongst others.

Organised by Grupo Via, the Grand Hospitality Debate Barcelona’s purpose was to analyse the future of the Barcelona tourism model and strategies to increase the attractiveness of the hotels in the city.

Charity Gala: Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* supports the foundation Perspectives d’Avenir

On Friday the 16th of February, the Foundation Perspectives d’Avenir presented on Friday the 16th of February its newly established headquarters at 35 Avenue des Trois Martyrs, in district 4 Moungali of Brazzaville, in the Republic of Congo. Besides the inauguration ceremony, many activities took place to celebrate the event, amongst which a Charity Gala, that Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* sponsored.

Many Congolese and international celebrities appeared during the night, to make their contribution: raising money to finance the « Kelasi » funds (scholarship grants) and the « Telema » funds (business grants), of the Foundation to help young Congolese in the development of their education and skills training in the areas necessary for the emergence and development of the Congo.
